**REMINDER** The following items must be achieved in each unit before inspections are done by REAC. Please cooperate by making sure that these things are done.
- Clean your stove, the inside and outside of it.
- Clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator and freezer.
- Please ensure that all Cords are properly stored and or taped to the floor and that all electrical plugs and light switches are all working properly, if not call and put in a work order for them.
- Clean the toilets, sinks and bathtubs completely. If there is any mold or mildew, call for a work order to be put in. Also, please make sure that there is a stopper for all sinks.
- Remove all soap scum and mildew from around the tub.
- Make sure that all smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly, if not call the maintenance line immediately.
- Make sure that none of your electrical outlet covers and light switch covers are cracked or missing.
- All Utilities, power and gas must be turned on and is the responsibility of the residents.
- Make sure you have no bugs in your units, if so, call our maintenance line to get pest control scheduled.
- Make sure that your unit is neat and not cluttered and that each room has at least one window or door that is an emergency escape route for yourself and family.
- No windows can be blocked by furniture etc.
- Make sure the yard is neat and clean, free of any trash or debris.
- Make sure that all faucets do not have any leaks or dripping, if so, call the office immediately to put in a work order.
- If you own a fire extinguisher, please ensure that the inspection tag is up to date. (1 year) If not, please remove it from the unit.
- No Flammable products, such as lighter fluid or gasoline, and any grills, should be inside the unit. These items will need to be stored inside your storage unit.
- Make sure that all burners and the oven are clean, and all burners are working properly, if not please call the maintenance line immediately to put in a work order.
- Make sure that the exhaust fan above the stove is working and clean and free of any grease.
- Make sure that the clothes dryer vents are clean, and that the ventilation is clean.
- Make sure that all light fixtures throughout the unit are all intact and working properly, if not call the maintenance line immediately to put in a work order.
- Make sure that all doors, including screen doors close properly and the locks are all working properly, if not call the maintenance line and put a work order in.
- Make sure that you call the maintenance line and put in a work order for anything that may look like mold or mildew.
If you have any of these problems in your unit, please make a list for the maintenance staff and call them into our maintenance line to put in a work order and give it to the maintenance staff as they enter your unit to do their inspections.
