Fourth of July Events

• Independence Day 1776 - Gates open at 11 am at American Village's Annual Independence Day celebration. They have activities going on ALL day long on the Fourth including fireworks at twilight. What a cool setting and fun opportunity for your family! The Cost is $5.00 per person and if your child is 4 and under, they are free. 
• Birmingham Barons - Celebrate the 4th of July weekend with the Barons with the Independence Day Celebration! They will be having Fireworks July 2nd and July 3rd.
• Thunder on the Mountain - Thanks to Vulcan Park & Museum for putting on the best fireworks in town from 9 to 9:30 pm! People flood into downtown Birmingham to watch this great show, or many people find parking lots at churches, shopping centers, etc. in the nearby areas and set up camp to watch this show. Spectators can listen to the soundtrack exclusively on iHeart media radio stations.
• Trussville Freedom Celebration - 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on the mall in the historic downtown Trussville area with carnival games, food trucks, and fun.

***Fireworks are not allowed on housing authority properties at any time***

Recertification Reminders

• Bring completed summary application, income verification, current gas, and electrical utility bill, and bank statement!
• All family members 18 years of age and above must be present for the recertification interview!
